What is "Big Conversations"...

The goal of Big Conversations is to bring the Olin community together for a discussion of “what's important” with a guest speaker who has made an impact on the world. The day-long event is an opportunity to explore the intersection of technology and society with leaders in fields ranging from business to the arts. Previous Big Conversations speakers have included Dean Kamen, inventor of the Segway, Dr. Harley Thronson, NASA's director of Technology, John Abele, founder of Boston Scientific, Leslye Arsht, former senior advisor to the Ministry of Education in Iraq, Michael Brown, president and co-founder of City Year and Woodie Flowers, Pappalardo Professor of Mechanical Engineering, MIT and Distinguished Olin Partner.
